Bushings / Self-Lubricating Bronze / Porous Metals / Burners / Sprockets / Sintered Structural Parts / Metal Powder

Graphite Bronze is an excellent result of development of powder metallurgy and antifriction highest commercial development material offering presentations of up to 200 kg and up to about 30cm in diameter and 30cm high.

Its composition is typically 90% Cu and 10% Sn, more encrusted particles Powdered graphite, which is not alloyed with the metal but act as "sliders" enhancing their quality antifriction given by the lubricant impregnates pores of the material.

Presentations are:

Normal Density: for low or moderate load and high speed friction.

High Density:  for low shear rate and higher load even in power transmission applications as in the case of sprockets or sprockets. Graphite Bronze is delivered in semi-finished steps to finish according to their final application. simple instructions are given to ensure that the porosity remain intact during the final finish.

Graphite Bronze Self-Lubricating advantages versus the molten bronze:

  1.-
Duration up to three times longer in similar conditions.
  2.-
No untimely failure mode; treadwear its maintenance program helps with safety and comfort.
  3.-
Take care much more the "Mating" as the axes, usually much more expensive than the bearings, and much more laborious replacement.
  4.-
For its porosity, at equal weight final measure is lower than the molten bronze; additionally, to be delivered in action much closer to the desired final measure, no noticeable savings in material and time finish.
  5.-
Delivery times shorter Graphite Bronze compared with casting.
